According to Associated Press and others, OpenAI’s CEO Sam Altman has declared “Code Red” at the company. He says they need major improvements to ChatGPT because Google, Anthropic, Mistral and many Chinese companies have now entered the AI model market.
The “Code Red” strongly suggests that OpenAI are realising that their human-like intelligence will not be available anytime soon – check out our short video explaining why OpenAI have not yet created human-like AI as they predicted. So now the need to find another way of paying their huge bills, and soon.

A Twitter, alright, sorry X, poster noticed that the latest Andriod phone software has references to what appear to be OpenAI adverts. Alberto Romero thinks this is the “beginning of a new nightmare for users”, and we tend to agree.
Imagine you ask this future ChatGPT how to make Lasagne? ChatGPT answers with “You will need 50 g Waitrose Duchy Salted butter…”. Will you notice the baked-in adverts? What if political parties start placing such adverts?

In an interview with The Guardian, Jared Kaplan of Anthropic AI says that:
Humanity will have to decide by 2030 whether to take the “ultimate risk” of letting artificial intelligence systems train themselves to become more powerful.
While we cannot predict technology breakthroughs over the next 5-years, this claim seems to be further AI hyperbole as Kaplan provides no details on the method by which AI will start evolving. Is this just more AI hype? Decide yourself here.
We have long said that Google is being underestimated in the AI Arms race. In our last news we pointed out that Google was the only company with full AI value chain integration. Right after that, New Scientist suggested that Google might be about to selling it’s AI chips (“TPU”) in direct competition to NVIDIA. And now Google has done exactly that. We told you first!
Fool article here.
And PS: Keep in mind that just last month, Nov 2025, Google posted about their new AI chips that are up to 10x faster than the previous generation. Will the market grow enough to keep NVIDIA’s monopoly-like profits intact, or will Google drive down prices and undermine NVIDIA?
